Chesterfield Community Question???

Is there a scheduled community Yard Sale this Year???? There are several families on

Golden Fleece Dr. with items to sell, Declutering for spring. Please let us know.

Hi Dawn,

     I was glad to see your post about the community yard sale day.  I've lived here 25 years and don't think our community has ever had a yard sale day.  For a few years, they had a flea market up at the pool and residents could rent a space, but this was used as a fund raiser for the association.  I've always wondered why we are one of the few communities around who don't have one.  It's a great way to help residents who are interested to raise some much needed money and also a great way to help us all get rid of some unwanted clutter.  I live on Golden Fleece too, so if you don't get an answer from a board member, maybe anybody interested on our road could just split the cost of a newpaper add and have a Golden Fleece Drive Yard Sale Day.  The more people interested, the more we would attract customers.  Let me know what you think.  Maybe we could sent an inquiry to our board president too, to inquire about designating a community yard sale day.  I don't think they check this site much.  I don't know if he has an email address.
