annual dues??????  I'll pay "dues" again as soon as the codes are enforced in the community. Simple as "no clothes lines", but ok to have pools large enough to sell tickets to........ or so many cars it looks like a car lot.... noooo , no more $$$$$ here till rules forced for ONE and ALL!!!!!!!!!! And yes hugabby, i am complaining this time!! try sleeping at  midnite & having to work, and 9 kids screaming as though they're in your living room!

Sorry to hear you have a noisy kid problem which I assume is your neighbors.  Just wanted to let you know that there is a city noise ordinance that says you are entitled to quiet enjoyment in a residential neighborhood.   The key times of this ordinance is between 10 PM and 7 AM.   If asking them to quiet it down doesn't solve the problem, you are within your rights to report them.    Maybe then they would be more respectful of their neighbors and you wouldn't have to lose sleep every night.   The city of Columbus website has more information about the ordinance.  Hope this information helps.

Thank you Grove for info. No, they pretty much do as they want. The "issue" we have is the fact ,at the time of our closing, we were told all sorts of        "community rules". Such as simple as no clothes lines, NO POOLS, no plants in front over 4ft. etc........... so we assumed the assoc. would inforce their "rules". Ive notified the city of cars sitting round,(oil running out of them). the sanitation dept.....nothing done. So we'll move soon as economy picks up. Told friends they don't want to buy here.
