Minutes for November 13, 2005

Nov 27, 2005

Present: Charles Owen, Vicki Welch, Carol Kidd, Linda Duncan, Mark Osborn, Bob Davison, Martin Rothman, Tim Hardy, Donnie Faulkner

Absent: No one

The Minutes for October were read and approved. There was no Treasurer's Report

Old Business:

Lake clean-up - 16 residents took part November 5 in our lake clean-up project around the front lake. We will clean up the back lake in the spring.

Fences - Because of a special price offered if we had more of the lake fenced now, 3/4 of the front lake will be newly fenced this fall; a decision about painting it will be made next year. Jim Hickey is in charge of repairing any old fencing not being replaced this year.

Drainage into the front lake from under National Turnpike will continue, with the Highway Dept. agreeing to clear the tangle of underbrush, bury the drainage pipe taking water into the lake, and smooth over the land at that spot.

Pull-A-Part - The sale of the land to Pull-A-Part took place in October, and work on the site is now underway. Our promised 112 trees will be going in during the spring of 2006.

Entrance lights - These will be moved (Hudson Electric) to behind the walls when the new lights go in

Christmas lighting - There will be no holiday lighting at the entrances this year. Instead, our light poles will be decorated with 4-inch festive ribbon.

New Business:

Tim will be getting a card to send to the wife of Tom Jones, a former Director. She is very ill.

Trucks and cars parked in yards off driveways will be reported to IPL for citing.

Christmas dinner - December 8 - 6:30 p.m. - To be determined by Carol Kidd

Adjourned: 8:30 p.m.
Next meeting - December 8 - 6:30 p.m. - TBA
