Present: Charles Owen, Mark Osborn, Marty Rothman, Linda Duncan, Donnie Faulkner, Murry Harral, Bob Davison, Aaron Walters alt. for Vicki Welch, Billy Vincent
Absent: Vicki Welch rep. by A. Walters
Guests: Officer Scott Sturgeon for a Block Watch neighborhood report
Vicki invited Officer Sturgeon to listen to Donnie's request for help with kids, 14 years old, knocking on doors, ringing doorbells between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. Names and addresses of kids doing this were given to Officer Sturgeon, who reported that he was going to meet with their parents.
Officer Sturgeon said he would report to IPL any trailers parked on driveways instead of parked either beside or behind residents' homes. This includes motorhomes illegally parked and could cost violators a $100 fine.
Scott also told us about contacting Charley Mattingly about filing papers on no trespassing waivers, which would facilitate a policeman's action against trespassers in the lake areas, for example. Mattingly would sell us signs ($52 each) that, posted, would tell police that we have on file these no waiver papers.
Scott also told us it would be fine to get new Stop sign decals to correct the lettering vandalized on the present signs. Donnie will find out how to secure these decals.
Minutes were read and approved, as was the Treasurer's Report, which shows we have a bank balance of $58,986.92, as of November 27, 2007. Bob moved and Marty seconded the motion to approve the Treasurer's Report - passed.
