January - three boys identified as trespassing onto residents' back decks, knocking on back doors, running through yards - names reported to police on January 17.


January 13 - truck was broken into after 2:00 a.m Sunday morning. Marked tools were stolen. Police were notified

April 18-19 - two trucks were broken into on York River Rd.; tools stolen out of one truck; uncertain about what was taken out of the other truck; police were notified

May 7 - garage-door openers recovered, hidden in bushes on property, set up for future break-in's of residences

May 30 - large group of teens gathered in Cape Cod Court at 7:30 - milling about

June 5 - large group of teens roaming after 11:00 p.m. - threw something against house and ran, one shouting, "Cane Montgomery, you're in trouble now," heard by homeowner as the group ran - police notified

August 7 - An attempted break-in occurred at a house on Old Towne Rd. at 4:15 a.m. Two men were stopped for questioning by the police, but no charges were filed because they fled the scene after the owner turned on the porch light to stop them. This incident was reported to neighbors via the neighborhood hotline number 367-3882.

September 2 - Landscape lighting was broken out at five homes located on Old Towne, Declaration, and Nantucket Police were not called.

Also, an irrigation valve was taken from the Old Towne island. Rewards offered for both crimes against property.

October 4 - York River Rd. resident reports ketchup being poured on truck between 1:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.

November 5 - ducks reported captured and held in yard at 7207 York River Rd. - Animal Services notified of possible abuse, livestock use
