For over 29 years, under the direction of Jynette T. Hayes, the organization Youth Rises Against All Odds has operated with a deep commitment to supporting families in need. Now rebranded as the 614 Youth Prevention Foundation, Ms. Hayes continues to offer the community a special Christmas Gala in Franklin County and New Orleans. This annual event, which is free of charge, has been something Ms. Hayes organizes from her own home out of a passion for giving back and helping those in need.

Ms. Hayes dreams of expanding her efforts beyond the holidays, envisioning a facility that would serve the community year-round. Her goal is to provide not just seasonal support, but also ongoing assistance with clothing, food, referrals, and furniture, all aimed at improving the lives of individuals and families throughout the year.
