24 years in Magnolia and still loving it; in fact in just gets better. If we can do this well in this economy - just think what we could do if it were better!
I love to garden - rain gardens, rock gardens, native plant gardens - just thinking that maybe a water garden would be nice some day. This Spring, some kids helped me plant pumpkin seeds and this Fall, they got some huge pumpkins - that was really fun.
I recycle - big time. I compost - big time. Hardly anything goes to the landfill from my home.
I care for the East Park and many of our kids help - with planting and leaves. We have some really great children here - and that says a lot about their parents too.
I'm a former Magnolia Board member but now support our community in more direct ways; I feel it is important to be an active member of a community (or many communities) and this also sets an example for the children.
Stop by and see my new hoop houses - my son and I built them - I will see how well I can grow some greens this winter... I'll let you know.
