I grew up on East 79th Street, 508 E 79th St. Our family left NYC in 1952 for Florida. I still consider myself a New Yorker. I attended PS 158 and St. Monica's as well. Recently during a move with my mother, now deceased, I found the receipt for the rental of our Apt. 2 for the sum of $1.00! I am trying to find out if 508 is still standing. I have many old photos taken back in the day.
