I have lived in the village of Northwood since the my Shadow Run home was built in 1979. Back when there were orange groves behind us, I have watched the city of Irvine grow.  As everyone comes home from work, we occasionally wave at one of the neighbors as we pick up our mail from our mailboxes. We then close our garage doors and go inside to spend the evenings at home. 

It is with a new purpose of fostering community that I am starting this community website for the neighborhoods of Northwood:  I hope to bring neighbors in touch with neighbors, to allow everyone a chance to share their gifts and talents, their work skills and baking skills, to bring neighborhood babysitters together with those who need a night out, dog walkers to those who are on vacation, etc., etc. 

Thank you for the opportunity to bring our community closer together!
