Hello I’m Al Graves I am a Brooklyn resident in the Crown Heights area. I am concerned and interested in social events as well as my community. I was born and raised in Brooklyn with direct ties to South Carolina. I am currently pursuing my bachelors as well as writing and publishing poetry about life itself. I am looking to make a difference by how I live my life, through my written work and choice of employment. I am the Program Manager for a new program named Career Matters that is under the department of Youth and Community Development located in Brooklyn Work force 1 on 9 Bond Street. The program offers free exploration for a career in construction from 16-24 year olds as well as training.
