My name is Alex Sefanov, and I am 62 years old. I was born in Odessa, Ukraine, and graduated with the master degree in information engineering and operations research. In 1979 I immigrated in the U.S. with my wife and our 3-yr old son. I have been working as a computer programmer and systems analyst for different companies in the Bay Area, and in 1997 I started my own company BioPharm Systems, specializing in implementation of software systems for pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device companies. In 17 years I grew the business to over 50 employees and over $15M/year revenue, and sold it to a NASDAQ-listed public company in 2014. I also have a RE Broker’s license, and have sold over 100 homes on mid-peninsula on a part-time basis. I have been a resident of Foster City since 1983, and last year my wife and I bought a waterfront home at 658 Greenwich Lane. My wife and I have 3 sons and 6 grandchildren. One of our sons and his two daughters are residents of Sea Colony in Foster City, too.
