Bob Platt has been in Arizona since 1978. He made the Granada Neighborhood his home in October 2005, transplanting from the Northeast valley, where he lived for the previous six years. Bob is an obstetrical and gynecological sonographer, and also a Realtor.

Howdy Neighbors!

One of the reasons I moved here, after a lengthly search of neighborhoods, and properties, is because I felt this area is going to increase in quality and value.
However, more recently I have noticed alot of vacant properties, and more often then not the tenants left their trash and animals behind.
This is a problem, and here is what you can do about it. To report blight violations, such as litter, trash/debris, unkept fencing, outside storage of items, and others call 602-262-7844. You must give the exact address and the type of violations. You don't have to give your name.
For loose, roaming dogs, call Animal Control at 602-506-7387.
Let's use the Cities available resources to help clean up the mess, and take our neighborhood back one house, one street, one block at a time.
Be diligent, report suspicious people and activityto the police or sheriff.

Any Runners?

One of my favorite hobbies is running. I like to run for excersise, de-stressing, and checking out the neighborhood. Some of you may have seen me. I am a member of Arizona Road Racers and try to run in as many running events as my schedule will allow. Do you run, or hike, or enjoy other healthy lifestyle events?...
