Hard to believe that when we first moved here, Mt. Tom Drive was a gravel road starting at the base of the mountain.
And the amusement of discovering that turkeys roosted in trees! I remember one morning watching with fascination as the turkeys unloaded from the trees surrounding our home and glided down the hill. It was like watching a scene from the Wizard of Oz as the monkeys had left the castle and were headed for the forest. (This was before the state hauled two large groups of turkeys to Corvallis.)
What an incredible privilege to get to be a part of this amazing place.
Craig's main job is an insurance claims adjuster, but his fun job/hobby is teaching scuba diving.
Judy works as a secretary for a water well drilling company and also is a tour guide/hostess for a local bus company. She also enjoys writing plays.
Reggie is a sophomore at HHS and works for one of the local farmers during the summer.
Our daughter, Casey, recently married a young man from Harrisburg and they have made their home there.
