My wife and I have lived in our home on Ring Necked Drive since March of 2000. I served on the very first Board of Directors as our Homeowner Association was formed to take over from the Developers and left the Board in 2004.

When we moved here our intentions were to move when we both had retired. The economy and the housing market have altered our thinking and today we are now living in our "Retirement Home". We don't consider our situation unique as we are not the only ones that suffered from the dramatic devaluation of our Drake Hill home. What we regarded as a safe investment has turned south and I have little hope of ever seeing the home values reach what they once were.

These circumstances forced me to take a strong look at our future. After discarding all the radical ways to try and recover some of our loses it became obvious to me that once again the solution would be to work our way out of our potential loss. So here I am once again back working with the Drake Hill HOA and quite frankly looking forward to the challenge.

I feel very strongly in the need for our residents to pull together and make our neighborhood one that will be "a place to live" on Indy's west side. This web site I hope will be a way that we can all communicate and share ideas.
