I am a 51 year young,black/hispanic women,who is a proud mother&grandmother.I have lived in College Point for a good 18 years &have grown to love this town.We are like a family here,although when i first moved here,there was alot of racial tension.I am a hard working women,who always reaches for the best,for my family&i.And if i believe in something worth fighting for,i will do my all to see that it is accomplished.I am a very determined women&dedicated to whatever it is i seek to accomplish..i love the fact that this site is available,to all the neighborhood people,who strife to keep CP a decent place to call home..In ending,now that i am assoiciated with this great group of people,the college point civics ass,i will do my best to have other members join...so that all our voices can be heard&CP can remain the kind of town that i will always be proud to call home..Rita
