As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
Joshua 24:15
I have lived in CLOA for the past 11 years. I have been actively involved for the past three years. I would encourage all members to take part in all meetings. I would consider it an honor to personally call or e-mail each and every homeowner to remind, or just notify them, of any announced or unannounced meetings.
For the past two years video's of the Board, Special, Workshop and Town meetings for CLOA have been taken. I believe that the Board members and the Property Manager have a problem with being held accountable for the statements and votes they make. Therefore, they do not want homeowners to video during meetings. They have stated it is a disruption. This is not true, the camera uses no light and makes no noise. The only disruption you will hear will be the board members voicing their insecurities of being on a homeowner's video. If you ask for a copy of the video CLOA provides, you will see a video like that of a convenience store surveillance tape (poor quality and poor sound). Homeowners paid over $3000 for this equipment. The reason for purchase, according to the board, is they couldn't be responsible enough to replace the cassette tape they previously used during the course of a meeting.
