My parents moved our family to Wexford when it was first built in 1986.  I was 8 years old then.  I grew up in Wexford, had a wonderful childhood, great friends from the neighborhood, spent every day of every Summer at the pool.  I grew up, moved out, got married, and had a family of my own.  6 1/2 years ago my husband and I bought the house I grew up in from my parents and moved my family back to Wexford.  The next year the economy took a dive and now we are stuck.  Now, at 35 years old It's sad to see the neighborhood and know what it once was but with that being said we HAVE seen improvement the last couple of years.  Since we have no chance of selling anytime soon we have decided to make the best of it, but I really would love my 3 boys to experience the wonderful childhood that I remember in Wexford.  I am really excited to see the pool back up and running and the neighbors coming together to make this the community that it once was.  We will be sending in our HOA dues next week so we can take part in hopefully bringing Wexford back to life!
