John Choe has over two decades of leadership experience – with service in the Office of the Comptroller, the New York City Council, the Corporation for Supportive Housing, the New York City Department of Finance, the Coro New York Leadership Center, and the Rent Guidelines Board.
A longtime community activist, John currently works with the Mitchell-Linden Civic Association, which represents over 3,000 households, to improve neighborhood quality of life and multicultural relations. He also volunteers with the NAACP Northeast Queens Branch, the Democratic Organization of Flushing, the Queens Civic Congress, and the Flushing Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends.
