Anthony, Kathy, & Melik

Kathy and I are originally from the small town of Blackville, SC. We started dating while in college and decide to unite in marriage on February 17, 1996. To shorten our commute to work we decide to start our new life together here in Orangeburg.

After two years of renting, we took on the task of designing our dream home and finding the perfect place to build it. We founded that perfect place here in the Fox Run Community. After months of designs work and construction we moved into our home in December of 1998.

On December 22, 2001, we were blessed with our first child, Antonio “Melik” Carter.

Anthony’s hobbies: Basketball, fishing, woodworking, drafting, and computer games.

Melik’s hobbies: making a mess and enjoying it.

Our Jobs

I am a graduate of Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College, and hold two Associate Degrees in Engineering. I am Currently Employed at Excel Comfort Systems as an Engineer. Kathy is also a graduate of Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College with a Diploma in Medical Assisting. Kathy also holds the title of Certified Medical Assistant and is employed at Drs. Williamson & Gillespie here in Orangeburg.

Our Churches

Kathy is a member of Macedonia Baptist Church in Blackville, were the Reverend Floyd Hughes is Pastor. I am a member of Sunshine Baptist Church in Blackville, were the Reverend Ethoin Rowe is Pastor. We invite you to come join us as we fellowship in the name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
