New to the Neighboorhood

We moved into the neighborhood in August 2005 and were happy to return to the Southside. Its about time we got a really nice area to live in! My brother and his family have lived here since the beginning of the neighborhood, so I really like having family so close!

Friendly but a bit reserved

We are a friendly family of three...my husband, myself and our 10 1/2 month old (plus two small doggies). We are a bit reserved on making friends with people because aside from the neighbors to the side of us, no one has made an effort to get to know us either. Would really love to get to know the neighbors, any suggestions? I'm not good at baking, so no cakes, cookies or pies... :o)

The whole family has grown up here in San Antonio and we love it. We plan to be here for quite a long time so we try our best to enjoy it. We love to listen to music, surf the net, spend time outside on cool nights and just relax.
