Volunteers In Policing Program

The Largo Police Department is looking for concerned citizens to participate in its VIP or Volunteers in Policing Program.

Support VIP's

Talented volunteers are sought to assist in all departments of the Largo Police Department. Positions may include clerical duties, event assistance, victim assistance, front desk duty or fleet maintenance.

Patrol VIP's

Patrol VIP's drive specially marked cruisers throughout Largo, assisting police officers with disabled vehicles, impounds, passenger transports, evidence deliveries, radar watches, park patrols, special watches, etc.
