Many Households in Bushwick/Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn are headed by young mothers with low-income or living in low-income/no income housing arrangements. Many of these mothers had children at a very young age, had to drop out of school, and cannot provide as much as they would like.  Project-S.E.E.Y.M. (Supportive, Empowering, Events for Young Mothers and fathers), was founded and exclusively designed for young parents, dealing with these struggles. Our program provides free, empowering, mother, father and children interactive activities and events with a "no strings attached" introduction to employment, entrepreneurial and educational resources (an alternative to poverty). We offer special events at a variety of venues throughout Brooklyn.  - 718-675-9528.
