AARP Widowed Persons Service of Nashville

Who We Are

A national service sponsored by local community groups and AARP. Our trained volunteers offer support to newly bereaved persons of all ages, mainly in Donelson, Hermitage, Mt. Juliet and Old Hickory.

What We Offer

Open Support Meetings at 85 Fairway Dr the 1st Sun. of each month at 2 P.M.
Dinner Out at a local restaurant on the 2nd Sat. of the month.
Breakfast at the Marriott every 3rd Sat. at 9 A.M.
The Lunch Bunch at Donelson Sr. Center at 9:30 A.M. the 4th Thursday.
A Newsletter sent bi-monthly at no cost to newly bereaved for one full year.

NOTE

There are no dues or fees for WPS. We, too, have gone through the loss of a spouse and just wish to be of help to newly widowed persons.
