In the Summer of 2000 Adair Park became a National Register of Historic Places District. This is in addition to the locally declared Historic Designation. The community was developed in 2 stages, the 1st in the late 1800 and the 2nd in the 1920's. It has a blend of Folk Victorian and Craftsman bungalows. It always has been a working class neighborhood, convenient to all parts of Metropolitan Atlanta due to it's close location and easy access to all major transportation; MARTA, Interstates & airport.
3 miles South of Downtown Atlanta, bounded on the North by Ralph David Abernathy Blvd, on the East by Metropolitan Pkwy, on the South by University Ave and on the West by Murphy Ave. It is just East across the RR tracks from West End MARTA Station.
