The mission of the Aiea Neighborhood Board is to keep our neighbors appraised of developments and proposed projects in the Aiea community. The Board is elected for a two-year term and serves as a advisory board to government services, as a representative of the people of the community.
There are 32 boards on the island of Oahu, which makes up the City and County of Honolulu, State of Hawaii. There are currently 458 board seats on Oahu. Based on population, Aiea is currently allowed 17 members. Election is non-partisan. The term runs from June 1 in the odd number year, to May 31 in the next odd number year.
Anyone wishing to attend a meeting of the Aiea Neighborhood Board #20, should come to the Aiea Library conference room, 99-143 Moanalua Road, Aiea, HI 96701.
Meetings are held the second Monday of each month, at 7:30pm.
