All Care Community Center has for the past 5 years served the needs of school children up to the age of 18 by creating an environment where they can develop and improve their life skills.
During the school year, children of the Cane Run Road area gather at the Center to improve their reading, writing and computer skills. Completion of homework is supported by staff. Role model speakers share experiences with our children as part of their development of life goals. A recent Courier Journal article highlights All Care Community Center's efforts in supporting the youth in our greater community. (Click the PDF artcile to left to read)
Getting Prepared for Your Future Now
This program helps the youth within the center?’s programs prepare for their future by creating an environment where options and decisions about their future are researched and discussed.
Topics to be reviewed include career choices, training, long and short term goals. Review of financial assistance to assist the student in reaching his or her goals will also be reviewed. To learn more about this valuable program and the schedule dates, please click the PDF artcile to left to read.
All Care Community Center is honored to be the first endorsed site outside the Jefferson County Public School system to participate in the ''Every1 Reads'' program. This program has been successful as demonstrated with the improved reading skills of the children at the Center. This program also stimulates the children to continue to improve their reading skills while away from the Center, further enriching their lives. This could not be accomplished without the committed and understanding support of our volunteers, many of whom are employees of our community?’s businesses. We, and our children, wish to express our heartfelt appreciation for this ongoing volunteer effort.
