Animal Coalition of Tampa (ACT)

Purpose

We believe that all living creatures have inherent value and are deserving of an acceptable quality of life. Euthanasia as a means of population control has no place in this vision. ACT's primary focus is high volume spay/neuter programs to reduce the number of companion animals entering Hillsborough County's shelter, and in turn, to eliminate euthanasia.

Spay/Neuter

Spay/neuter not only reduces the number of unwanted animals being born each day, it's also good for you and your pet! Pets who are spayed or neutered live longer, healthier lives and are less aggressive and better behaved. Spay/neuter eliminates or reduces the risk of lots of health problems that are difficult and expensive to treat, including several different kinds of cancer.
