TogetherGreen is about much more than (focus of the day?’s volunteer event, e.g. weeds of stream banks); it?’s about what we can all do when we come together to make a difference for the health of our environment.
Volunteerism. . .the work of people just like you?… is key to shaping the future of our world. And as part of the volunteer force taking part in 24 TogetherGreen events nationwide over the next few weekends, you?’re proving that what each of us does adds up to make a bigger difference for our community, our region, our nation and even our planet.
Audubon and Toyota came together to create TogetherGreen to fund events like this and to make people like you the inspiration for others to get involved, wherever they live and whatever they do.
Since last September ?– when we kicked off Volunteer Days -more than 5,800 TogetherGreen volunteers have contributed in excess of 28,000 hours of their time to making the world a greener, healthier place for all of us. And we?’re confident that example is spreading.
So please, pass your example on to your friends, your neighbors and co-workers. We have Toyota employees volunteering all over the country and they?’re setting the example too.
And you don?’t have to wait for events what we will have in Oklahoma City. You can make a difference every day in the actions you take at home, work and in the community,
