Support ALS on passage of S.1382

ALS Registry Act
(Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) would establish the first ever US national Paitents with ALS (PALS) registry at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention under the Health and Human Services Department.

HOLD Placed by Senator Coburn

US Senate quick processing of S 1382 has been stymied by US Senator Tom Coburn MD, R-Oklahoma, junior senator. In a ''so-called'' effort bring order to Federal budget process and public debt.

The US Senate ''Hold'' tactic represents a callous action against PALS who will die by paralysis and suffocation.

No person of note in the US Senate, State of Oklahoma, or the United States has publicly stood up to Senator Coburn and assailed this tactic. PALs and their supporters are frustrated and thus compelled to take action against Senator Coburn MD, R-OK.

Senator Coburn does not ethically negotiate his issue with his own constituents or the US public. Thus boycotts of Oklahoma products and services become a public means for PALs to force change, bring awareness to ALS, and move S 1382 forward in the 110th US Congress.
