Our Very Own Web Site

Its gotten off to a slow start but we hope with the new year and new volunteers that we will have our web site up and running with lots of useful information. For those of you with a computer the site location is: www.neighborhoodlink.com/bedford/belhoa/

Please be patient. It?’s like being a new parent with no owner?’s manual. While this newsletter was being created a volunteer came forward to keep the web site up to date and put useful information out there. I want to thank Stan Cook (3012 Everest Drive) for his willingness to help. If you have any ideas or thoughts on the web site please contact Stan at (817) 545-3707 or texastan@airmail.net and let him know. Stan is married to Jan and they have just moved into our community. Please help make them feel welcome. I gather from my short visit that they like to travel and collect antiques.

The web site has many features we can use. There are places for a calendar so we can list the dates of meetings and events; a chat room where we can talk to each other about our concerns; and a membership area to place pictures and let others in the community know about you, your likes and interests. It does not give out phone numbers or addresses. One of the nicest features of the site allows you to send communications directly to the management company via email of fax. Go for a visit and let us know what you think. Share with Stan things you would like to see put on the site. Don?’t forget to tell him thanks for his hard work. We really appreciate him!
