Potholes reported finally
I called and talked to Rose who is going to forward the info to the folks who repair the roads. She said that potholes are a priority and they will get out right away to check these and will take about seven days or less to repair. She gave me another number to call in the future, 635-3400. Now, to see how long it takes.

Potholes, filled, finally!
Well, it worked, One little phone call last week and they finally came out and filled and patched the dangerous holes on each side of Rawls at the intersection. I'm glad that's done as I feared one day I would fall into that large one on the right side as you leave to go to Erlich Road. Why someone didn't call the County's Roads and Streets department for our are sooner is a mystery to me. I guess most people just figure it will eventually get fixed somehow. End of story here. Next!

gate sounds great ! when our house got robbed 2/14/07 they had to have a car to make their getaway with all our stuff - if we had had a gate, they could not have gotten in, i don't think the robbers would have made it that far carrying our tv, steoro and computers.....

Miko, I'm sorry to hear of the robbery of your possessions. I hope you can make it to the next couple of meetings to hear about and voice your interest in the gates. I've had the opportunity to see the paperwork and the estimate for this project is very large. If there is not enough interest in this I'm afraid it won't pass the vote as it will certainly increase the homeowner's quarterly fees. The feeling is the homeowners won't want to carry this huge expense. Do try to make the meetings and encourage any neighbor you know to come also.
