Partly right. I went to the Hillsborough County web site to take a look. (http://www.hillsboroughcounty.org/water/restrictions/wrs.cfm} I'll copy and paste here for everyone's convienance what is stated:

Lawn Watering Schedule

Same Days: All lawn watering remains limited to the same once-per-week schedule. Follow the chart below:

Addresses ending in 0 or 1

Monday

Addresses ending in 2 or 3

Tuesday

Addresses ending in 4 or 5

Wednesday

Addresses ending in 6 or 7

Thursday

Addresses ending in 8 or 9, locations with no address (common areas, entry areas), and locations with mixed addresses (office complexes, shopping centers)

Friday

Mandatory Watering Hours:

  • Midnight to 4 a.m. for properties less than one acre in size, using an in-ground irrigation system (rotor and spray sprinkler heads).
  • Midnight to 4 a.m. and 8 p.m. to midnight for properties more than one acre in size, using an in-ground irrigation system (rotor and spray sprinkler heads).
  • 6-8 a.m. and 6-10 p.m. for properties of any size, using sprinkling cans, hand-held hose equipped with automatic shut-off nozzle, or using a hose equipped with a portable sprinkler.

Note: The same lawn area may not be watered by multiple means, in other words, persons may not use an irrigation system and a hand-held hose to water the same area twice on their day.

Wow......that doesn't sound like Sharmin. Sorry for that Miko. I did check with the county before I posted the original post and they said there were no exceptions to the rule. Hopefully it will get taken care of. I knew some people around here had a very condescending attitude toward members just didn't think that way about Sharmin. I'm surprised about the landscaper being fined perhaps it's in the contract?? I always thought it was the homeowner and since the common area is part of Bella Vista.........Does this mean I can hire a landscaper and never have to worry about water fines????
