City of Bellemeade

PLEASE...do something about all the door to door sollicitors .   Can't we have signs posted to deter them?  They do not hesitate to come behind gates and fences.  Is there a legal way to stop this?  I hope something can be done.

Contact Metro.  They sent an officer to the neighborhood when I complaianed shortly after I originally posted my complaint.

Every time I have contacted Metro about any problem, whether it be the speeders on North Chadwick Road or the flow of solicitors without permits, I have received a very prompt and cordial email from LT Col PhilipTurner of LMPD after which LMPD has always addressed the situation very expeditously.  I should have shared that email address with you earlier;  it is  Philip.Turner@louisvilleky.gov

I emailed LTC Turned myself yesterday.  An officer from the 8th Division contacted me today and said they would help with the solicitors and speeding problems.

LMPD 8th Div will send cars to run radar on North Chadwick and Bellemeade Roads.

As far as the solicitors, I was told to call  502-836-4620 and tell them that we have solicitors in the neighborhood.

They also would like to have someone in the middle between Whipps Mill and Shelbyville Road on North Chadwick and Bellemeade Roads give them permission to set up the speed alter machine in their yard.

Please let LMPD know that their efforts are appreciated.
