The person on Bellemeade road did know about the proposed speed humps long before the vote was taken. He refused to sign the petition but did not come to a commission meeting to speak against them. The placement was done according to metro guideline and one happens to be in front of his house. He does not like it. It is there because of the unique configuration of the street. |

Strange how we get different takes on an issue. He does not like the fact that the speeders have to slow down in front of his house. But, I am still actively trying to get more speed humps on my street because of the dangerous speeders. I would love to have one in front of my house!! |

OK .....This is from someone who has lived on Bellemeade Rd. for over 20 years. Because of speeders and people that run the stop signs we have needed speed bumps since I moved here. They are great and the are WORKING and they were requested and petitioned by the majority off the residents that live on Bellemeade Rd. who have to put up with the speeders and stop sign runners. This is how government is supposed to work by serving the needs of the people. |
