Thank you for looking into it.  I interpreted "will" within any time frame as ?????? whenever. Thanks for the "AM!"

When you have found the answer there, could you also please address the other two questions I raised?

1:  Why pay to have the snow plowed off the ice and make the streets more dangerous?

2:  Since we are so short on money, can we not allocate money to REAL NEEDS first

and spend less money on nice to have things?  Do we need more money in the

         budget?

I know you are just one vote on the Commission and that you salary is $00.0; but, you are the only one with the insulation provided by a four-year term.  That and your title make you the leader, the initiative-taker, the MAN in charge, the DUDE who has his finger on the pulse of the people..  You do a very good job most of the time; thanks for that and Merry Christmas.

Afterthought:  Does the budget get posted publickly?  It probably does, I just haven't ever seen it except at Commission meetings.

Afterafterthought:  What do you suppose Kitty would think about the slick streets?  It's a small wonder that all that water from the irrigation system at the Moorgate entrance didn't freeze into a skating rink. If the deep freeze had come a week earlier,  OMG!  That is a lot of water!!!  Maybe we could cut back on that?  What is it:  60,000 gallons of water in each billing period?

While you are looking into it Mr Mayor can you look into what the SALT will do to the roads?  It eats them up!...and then everyone will complain that the roads are tore up and covered in potholes and need to be repaved.  Cars wouldn't have slid off the ice if drivers slowed and drove with care and caution.

I agree that "plowing" that tiny little bit of snow we had made the roads more dangerous....   Plowing and the expense of it should be saved for snow deeper then say 4 inches.  Most all cars/vans/suv's can safely drive on less snow then that.

Also, agree that the amount of water used at the Moorgate entrance is a crazy amout, those sprinklers need to be turned down.

I've seen the "budget" in the mailings that go out to residents. Is it a good idea to post it on the internet?

Budget can be found in the July Newsletter that was mailed to everyone and can be found on this site under "Newsletters"

Could the budget be posted on the home page under Documants and Pages sitting right there as obvious as a budget on a home page?

What is the :Go Button" that tells the plow man to plow?   He plowed this year with a skiff of snow and a 1/4 inch plus of ice, but several inches of snow remained on the streets last year for several days before the plow came through.  Yes, I know "another person working for the contractor came through"  but he didn't lower the blade down to the snow.  . .

Is the contract to plow the streets a bid item?  What are the performance specifications in the contract?  Is the contractor liable if he damages one of the speed humps on Bellemeade Road?
