Actually the Beautification has grant money for that project. They are doing an excellent job of applying for grants and getting them.

Grant money?  That is all well and good, but you circumvented my real question, as usual.  Another poster lamented the negative commentary on this site.  Is it any wonder that there is negativity on here?  Management by crisis as opposed to proactive leadership just might be the cause of that ill will notwithstanding the fact that we have some pretty outspoken residents.

One more time:  Why are we spending money, regardless of the source, to take care of a responsibility that is not ours?  Add to that the fact that there are responsibilities NOT being taken care of such as snow removal from our streets, speed control, and public safety.
