Please ensure that your houses and vehicles are secured. I encountered a potential burglar in my driveway at 1a.m. this morning while taking the dog out. The person was peering into one of the cars with a flashlight and ran away quickly once they saw me. The incident occurred on Southampton Rd and the person ran toward Charing Cross/Chadwick Rd. I phoned the police and they had patrol cars canvassing the neighborhood overnight and into morning. For the safety of yourself and others, be aware of your surroundings and turn on porch/security lights whenever you can. Thanks!
