City of Bellemeade

Why is this van still stalking this neighborhood?  It was on North Chadwick and Charing Cross today apparently at least 3 times.  That makes 5 out of the last 7 days that someone has reported seeing the van (or one like it).  I never had the correct angle to get the plate number nor did the other two people who told me they saw it too.  I understand that our mayor and two other people know the plate number and have reported it to the police.

Surely somebody knows what is going on with this guy since his plate number was reputedly reported to the police more than once.  What's the deal?  Is this guy a thief, a pervert, someone with a grudge, or a legitimate person looking for a lost pet, trapping  coyotes, or someone with a valid reason to be watching houses? 

Is he also stalking us at night, and we don't know it?  We have seen him in the daytime but it may as well have been at night since most of us are in the dark about the real story (if there is one).

u sure its not the news paper delivery guy? i thought the same thing of a stange vehicle then realized it was news paper guy

Newspaper delivery?  What paper is delivered in the afternoon?  Why would the paper delivery guy sit in driveways?  Why did he scat when he saw people were suspicious?  Why so many days in a row? 

If you carefully read the 16 posts under the heading of "Suspicious van," it would appear that there is more than ample reason to be concerned.  It is bewildering that this went (has gone) on so long without some form of explanation or resolution.  Mr. Mayor, Public Safety is specifically one of your Commission oversight duties; what do you make of this situation?  Does Neighborhood Watch have any input?  Is this an innocent person doing something totally legitimate, or is there reason to be concerned?
