Apparently Bellemeade does not have the money for the speed humps. Don't forget we have an incredibly low property tax rate. But North Chadwick is a Metro street, as long as five (5) residents on the street sign an Investigative Petition, Metro will start the process by evaluating the need and then go from there. The petition does not have to be presented to Bellemeade City Commission. I found all of that out today from Department of Public Works. Where there is a will; there is a way.
Why do you people keep crowing about the low tax rate? That is a bunch of crap designed to keep flunkies like laryl in public view to satisfy their lust for power. Using the brown paper grocery bags for toilet tissue saves a lot of money, but the benefit is at the very best questionable. People didn't have high sewer bills in the days of outhouses, but the night air was so pungent. For that low tax rate, we get low efficiency and laryl - yes, it is true that one gets what they pay for. Hello?
