City of Bellemeade

I saw LMPD writing tickets this morning at the new STOP signs!  Good!!!!!!!!!  Some of our own residents do not even slow down there; that  is a GIANT slap in the face to those people who obey the laws.  We can not select which laws we follow. 

I sat at Dorchester and North Chadwick Raceway near Moorgate entrance from Shelbyville Road yesterday while a string of five, FIVE!!!, cars/suv, truck ran the STOP sign like it was not even there.  Too bad LMPD was not around then (it was 5:45 pm).

Ladies and Gentlemen, please stop at the stop signs.

It's hard to teach old dog's new tricks.  I have been good 99.9% but did realize that I did a california stop today.  I am now, just getting use to the 35mph on WhippsMill instead of 45mph.  I feel the sign sits too far to the right and not up to the road coming from Shelbyville Road for people to see and react to.

I am trying to remember to stop and agree with the other responder about getting use to the change. Thank you for your gentle reminders.  It's a blessing having you in the neighborhood!
