Who could have expected such beauty at a little school in Big Pine Key, Florida? This mural was painted by Nancy Gagliardini of the Artists-in-Paradise Co-Op. Nancy received a $500.00 grant from the Florida Keys Council of the Arts so that she could paint this Big Pine Eagle mascot logo on the exterior wall of the cafeteria.

The students got to see the step-by-step work that goes into making a mural. Every day something new was painted to make the masterpiece more beautiful.
