It?’s hard to believe that we?’re already so far into the school year?…..I guess it?’s true that time really does fly when you?’re having fun!
As I indicated in the last edition, I have been working feverously on our SAC School Improvement Plan for the past month. The good news is that it has been completed and submitted to the Monroe County School Board for final approval. I would like to thank all of you who provided input in this process.
This finished document, which will be presented at our next Board meeting on Nov. 19th, is something that I would encourage you all to become familiar with. It sets the tone, objectives, goals and expected outcomes that we are to accomplish over our first year of operation. We have deliberately set high achievement targets for our student, school, staff, and parents; and, we are all fully committed to realizing the vision we share for our school and to providing the best services available for our children to enable them to succeed in life.
We have all come a long way in a relatively short period of time, but we still have a long way to go. I am proud of what we have accomplished to date, and as a parent and your principal, I would like to convey to you that I too expect the best and will not settle for anything less.
I understand that some parents are not available to make our Board or PTO/SAC meetings ?– I hope you have seen our suggestion box in the cafeteria. If you have any ideas, thoughts or concerns, please let me know.
Until the next edition?….
Moby Madisetti.
