October?’s PTA meeting covered only a few topics, but they were important ones. We went over the School Improvement Plan (SIP) with Moby. It took quite a while to go over each topic . The ideas that the parents had and views expressed through the parent survey were all in the SIP for discussion. We would have had liked to have seen more parents there to voice their cares, opinions or concerns, but the parents that did participate were a great help.
Plans were made to have a Halloween Party in the cafeteria for both of the classes. Make sure to look at the wonderful pictures in this month?’s insert. Thank you so much to all of the parents and teachers that made the party possible by all of your hard work and planning.
We also discussed the Christmas Party planned for December 19th at 6:00. It will be the ?“1st Annual Neighborhood Christmas Celebration?”. We?’ve already had a few companies volunteer to donate products to make the party a success, but we would love to see more. We want this to be really fun for our kids as well as reach out to our community. If you have company that can donate children?’s gifts or supplies for the party, please either let us know at the school or just email the school at www.neighborhoodlink.com.
