Black Swamp Herb Society

Meets on the fourth Monday of the month at 7 pm

Maintains the gardens behind the Wood County Historical Museum

Developed 4 traditional gardens

culinary, medicinal, fragrance, everlasting

Maintains a garden of blooming annuals

Is developing an oak-savannah garden reflective of area preagricultal plant life

Cultivates a butterly garden

Is planning a ''Children's Garden''

Participates in civic activites

Plans the Old Home Christmas Gift shop around herbal themes

Is working with the Historical Museum to renovate the Chicken Cook as a work/storae area

Schedules regular gardening times in season

Mails a monthly newsletter ''Sage Thymes'' and provides a Members' Booklet

Schedules regular gardening times in season

Provides opportunities for leadership, learning and creative work
