Your neighborhood association wants to make you aware of some serious and recent problems occurring in our area:
?• A neighbor was a victim of an armed robbery while walking to his apartment (12:30 AM)
?• A truck with a club-lock on the steering wheel, was stolen on Vista
?• A truck on Orizaba was broken into this month and valuables stolen. The truck was also graffitied
?• A car's lock was broken and the car stereo stolen on Vista
?• Major graffiti in the alley between East Corto Place and Vista
These incidents are increasing in frequency and we need to put an end to them and return our neighborhood to a safe, crime-free environment. We need to stand together and keep this criminal element out of our area by taking the following actions/precautions:
?• Don't leave items on your car seat or visible in your car to tempt potential criminals
?• Check out noises at night and call 435-6711 (or in an emergency 911) for police assistance if needed
?• If you have some criminal activity happen, report it to LBPD at 570-5880
?• Exchange phone numbers with your local neighbors so that you can call them about suspicious activity involving their home
