The Bosart-Brown Community Organization exists to serve all residents of the neighborhood by: promoting, supporting, and coordinating the efforts of neighbors and Crime Watch Block Clubs in crime prevention; encouraging both public and private reinvestment in our historic neighborhood; and keeping our neighborhood clean and attractive. The Organization will also provide an open forum for the discussion of issues facing the neighborhood, and will encourage appropriate actions for the continued improvement of our east-side community.
We are pleased to announce that two CrimeWatch Block Clubs are forming on Wallace Avenue.
The two Block Clubs will represent Wallace Avenue from Washington Street to Michigan Street.
The total number of Block Clubs in the Bosart-Brown Community Organization now totals six representing all of Drexel Avenue, Bosart Avenue and Wallace Avenue within the boundries of the BBCO.
Now having six of the fifteen projected Block Clubs for the the BBCO we are looking to add to the count over the next year.
We are still looking for residents to start Block Clubs in the following blocks:
West Side of Emerson Avenue (300-400 Block)
Pleasant Run Parkway N. Drive (0-100 Block)
Bancroft Street (300-400 Block)
