First Contact

The First Contact Brain Injury Support Network is made up of a team of physicians, nurses, hospital staff, family, friends and voulnteers who work together to provide the first contact for someone who has suffered a brain injury.

Local Brain Injury Support Group

''Headliners'' is a support group that meets at a restaurant for a meal on the second Wednesday of each month. Call Katherine Finn at 502-254-5035 for details on time and place.

Baptist Hospital East hosts a Brain Injury Support Group on the Third Wednesday of each month (except June thru August) at 7:00 PM. Call Debbie Nelson at 502-896-7456 for details.

8-9-10, a support group for brain injury survivors only and meets at 5:30 PM the Third Wednesday of each month at Frazier Rehabilitation East. Call Tracy Waddell at 502-429-8640, ext. 226 for more information.
