Town of Braintree

It seems that one of the selectmen candidates is scared of a little competition. First, he doesn't turn in his campaign year end figures and now he still hasn't turned in or even gotten his nomination signatures. Is it because nobody will sign or is it that YOU ARE SCARED?

If you cared about Braintree, and not yourself, you would run regardless of who else is running and attempt to do what is best for Braintree. But maybe, just maybe, the past 3 years have been all about trying to get your brother a job as a cop in Braintree.

So, cowardly lion, do you care about Braintree? Was the last three years all about making your brother a cop? Or is it that you are just scared of Darren and Joe? We will see if/when you pass in your papers!

Part of Problem, Not Solution

tmm1 comments that Tim Egan failed to file his election report with Town Clerk. Shame on Town Clerk for not calling him on the carpet as she legally is responsible in doing. If what you say is accurate, Tim is wrong, but our Clerk is similarly wrong in not exposing this issue. As far as the bottom line, Egan and McAuliffe both should be replaced on the Board and if Langill ran again this year with Powers, we'd all be better off!

Get it right

I signed Egan's nomination papers a few weeks ago and I will be voting for him in April.

I remember the brother incident but it wasn't like the guy didn't have the qualifications like the Reynolds hiring in W&S and he took on the chief to make his point. Who orchestrated the hack appointment of Tom Reynolds?

To call Egan a coward shows how out of touch you are tmm pct 1 (aka McAuliffe).

Talk about cowards

Put Powers at the top of the List of Cowards.

Also put him at the top of the list of elected officials who enjoy spending public funds on themselves.

He did a poor job as Town Moderator and a worse job as Town Clerk. The taxpayers won't forget.
