With all due respect to our present town moderator, I thought Joe did a tremendous job. He kept it moving and he kept it under control. As for town clerk, his record speaks for itself. Just remember who was on the BOS when he was town clerk. They were not exactly some of Joe's staunch supporters. But at least he had the integrity to resign the position when he ran in the primary for state rep. He didn't hold on to one job while he ran for another. You can think the way you want, but I'd hardly call Joe Powers a coward.
