I agree with An Observer... most folks on this site do no research except gossip. Hubbard happens to THINK! Thank you Observer for setting these ignoramus' straight.

Concerns

I think Mr. Hubbard had a legitimate concern reagarding small businesses. The plaza can absorb the increase, the little guy who owns the flower shop, the pizza joint, barber shop or lock shop will find the increase more difficult to swallow. We are not talking hundreds here but thousands of dollars more some of these small business will pay.

I am also concerned how we are going to fund salary increases in future years. What I heard last night was unless there is an increase in state revenue there will be no money available to pay for pay raises or increases in services.

They all voted to cut the tax on small business's. Hubbard wanted to cut the tax on the S.S. Plaza, K Mart and Best Buy ect. You call that speaking up for the people that elected him.
